Bio"Hello, lemondrop, my name is Hallie. I'm from otherworldly Arashmahal, though I much prefer to hang out on Earth. I love to party and have fun. I'm also a supernatural force for justice, and I especially like helping out children. Just make a wish and I'll make your life more interesting."
Halfrek is from the show Buffy. She was a vengeance demon and Anyanka's best friend right until Dhoffryn apparently destroyed her early in the last season.
Unusual Physical Characteristics
(Notes for those who never saw her on Buffy):
Hallie is a vengeance demon, although this is not immediately obvious. She spends most of her time in human form. Whenever granting a wish or in a bad mood, Hallie will revert to her demonic form, a hideous veiny female with a deformed humanoid appearance. As a vengeance demon, Hallie is incredibly hard to kill. Simple violence isn't enough (she's survived a sword through the heart). She also has the ability to teleport. Her greatest and most terrifying power, however, is her ability to grant the foolish wishes of those who have been wronged. Using the words "I wish ..." around her is a recipe for disaster, and once a wish is granted, only she can reverse it. For some reason, her abilities in milliways are weakened. Wishes granted there only last a few days, a couple of weeks at most. To compensate, she gets ... creative. =)
As far as we know, the only way to destroy her permanently is very potent demonic magic. Her only weakness is that should someone destroy the pendant giving her her powers, the last wish she granted will be undone and she will become a simple human. However, she's well aware of that and taking that pendant from her is thus much easier said than done.
